About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The LytHarvest Baton Ring Holder, D/C Cell Flashlight Ring Holder is a tactical pouch. The majority of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. MOLLE straps supply a versatile method for users to choose the mounting area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the three parts of the mounting system: MOLLE straps, pouches, and panels. Installing tactical pouches is quick and easy. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s have a look at some of the best MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many various colors and camouflage patterns.

Types of LytHarvest MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to have on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty standard in style. They are among the original styles of pouches created to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is generally attached with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most economical ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while accessing or swapping gun gear. These mag pouches can be available in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility a lot easier and mag reloads faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The LytHarvest brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps safely hold the magazines so you do not have to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
LytHarvest MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches can be found in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently found variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all six separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to discard empty mags and other gear into during fights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for extra security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK stands for individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or wound on the field. A first aid pack should include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else generally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own separate pouch), and other equipment you might require on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups use communications and radios devices in the field. Using a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
