About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Kwnraor First Aid Pouch, Rip Away EMT Pouch Tactical Medical Molle Pouch for Hiking Camping Trekking Hunting is a tactical pouch. Most tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to gear, vests, range bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps provide a flexible way for users to choose the mounting location and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area. The only limitation ends up being which pouches to put to use and where to place them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are applied in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches can be found in all colors and camo patterns. Common pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Take a look at the example swatches below for what they appear like:
About the KWNRAOR Brand
The KWNRAOR brand is pretty well-known among airsoft players. They make decent quality airsoft pouches and other gear. You can find answers on the brand’s website if you have questions about their airsoft pouches or client service questions.
Kinds Of KWNRAOR MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in design. They are one of the original styles of pouches developed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being offered from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most cost effective methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while accessing or swapping gun gear. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and magazine reloads faster than before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE straps so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The KWNRAOR brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you do not have to be concerned about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
KWNRAOR MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically chosen versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design. This consists of companies like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are outstanding quality, functional, and are replicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of mags are typically far better than one. This pouch proves this to be accurate considering that it saves you money from having to buy a pair of pouches. As an example, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all six separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never ever purchase pouches individually which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) create an area for you to ditch empty mags and other things into rapidly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for additional security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players need when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. Think spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or in a tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft groups work with communications and radios equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
