About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The KOTTO 2-Pack Gun Magnet Mount,50 Lbs Magnetic Gun Mount/Holder, Works for Rifle,Pistol,Revolver, Airsoft, Shotgun, Concealed Your Firearm On Car,Truck,Wall,Safe,Desk,Vehicle is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps provide a versatile method for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camouflage patterns.
About the KOTTO Brand
The KOTTO brand is pretty highly-rated in the world of airsoft. They produce outstanding quality airsoft pouches and other products. If you have concerns about their tactical pouches or customer inquiries, you can find answers on the brand’s website.
Kinds Of KOTTO MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally fastened with Velcro. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget-friendly methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are comparable to the basic mag pouches with a couple of modifications. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to place and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access a lot easier and magazine swaps faster than ever, this design of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE connections so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The KOTTO brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps safely hold the magazines so you do not need to think about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
KOTTO MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly used variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of magazines are typically far better than one. This pouch shows this to be true because it saves you cash from having to buy a pair of pouches. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all six individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever buy pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) make an area for you to dump empty magazines and other gear into during gunfights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. A first aid kit must contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create a place for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own specific pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Lots of airsoft teams put to use radios and communications equipment in the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
