Green Gas KWA KMP9 NS2 SMG Dark Earth FPS-440 Blowback Airsoft Gun Package Deal (Mask, Green Gas and BBs)
Airsoft Pistol Product Features
This is a Green Gas Airsoft Pistol which means that it uses Green Gas as a propellant. It shoots hard and fast and is extremely lifelike. One feature many Green Gas Airsoft Guns have is blowback, meaning that as the BB is propelled forward the slide thrusts backward mimicking the kick of a real gun! This Green Gas Airsoft Pistol doesn’t require any pumping just simply point and shoot. This is a high end Green Gas Airsoft gun. Please only use .20 gram high quality BBs with this item in order to keep it in working order. Using anything else as ammunition for this gun will void the warranty and may cause it to jam. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this Airsoft gun. You will need to purchase Green Gas for this gun separately.
Airsoft Pistol Variety Additional Information
Learn about airsoft handguns and sidearms and how you can use them as backup weapons or as main weapons on the airsoft playing field. Numerous airsoft pistols are fully accredited versions of their actual pistol equivalents and function and appear in the very same ways while shooting airsoft BBs instead of real bullets.
There are a variety of airsoft pistols including CO2, propane or green gas (blowback and non-blowback), spring powered, and AEG automatic electric gun pistols. Each of these forms of sidearms come with negatives and positives connected with them. Finding out about the styles of airsoft handguns allows you to make a decision on which type is right for you and your airsoft game play style.
About CO2 Airsoft Sidearms
CO2 airsoft pistols are one of the most heavy duty and standard types of handguns. They are all-weather guns and operate well in many kinds of temperatures, weather and climates. These pistols use pressurized CO2 gas to move airsoft BBs out of the handgun barrel. The CO2 cartridge is generally kept in the handgun’s handle.
These types of airsoft handguns are excellent for playing airsoft in cold temperatures since the pressurized CO2 gas is less sensitive to variation caused by low temperature. This fact gives CO2 airsoft handguns great FPS and shot consistency while playing airsoft in the winter months for instance where other types of sidearms like green gas stop performing or barely shoot pellets.
Additional Info About CO2 Gas and CO2 Cartridges
CO2 airsoft sidearms are powered by basic 12 gram CO2 cartridge cylinders. These cartridges look similar to a shiny cylinder and contain high pressured CO2 gas made up of a single carbon atom and 2 oxygen atoms hence the molecular formula is “C + O2”.
The cartridges come sealed to keep the CO2 gas securely within, but soon after they are opened (firing them inside of an airsoft pistol breaks the seal) they will start to lose pressure if they are left unused. If the airsoft games end and you still have CO2 gas left, use the chance to do some pistol target practice and use up the rest of the remaining gas.
If they are kept sealed, CO2 cartridges can be stored for a while. They have the manufacturer’s best used by date typically marked on the box or cartridge, however, they will likely last for a long period past this date if the cartridge seals are not broken.
Green Gas Airsoft Sidearm Facts
Green gas airsoft handguns are similar to CO2 pistols, however they do not use CO2 cartridges. The operational impact on the battlefield and green gas weapon efficiency is virtually the same as CO2 handguns with the guns around 300+ FPS.
The propane is kept in the handgun’s mag which can commonly hold around 15 to 20+ airsoft BBs depending on the handgun design. A series of valves, rubberized gaskets, and silicone o-rings keep the gas pressurized in the mag till the pistol’s trigger is pulled.
When using a green gas sidearm on the airsoft field or arena as a backup or primary weapon, extra handgun mags are encouraged for rapidly reloading and getting back into the game. Having additional magazines on-hand helps you re engage in the action throughout firefights or while sweeping buildings in CQB (close quarters combat) room-to-room combat.
Green gas pistols are excellent for CQB at airsoft fields considering that long guns and full-sized AEGs are generally not permitted to be used for indoor gameplay. This is an essential safety rule due to the close range distance of gamers during shooting engagements and potential for players to get hurt. While green gas pistols can still shoot airsoft BBs at about 300 FPS, the shorter pistol barrel helps to keep the joules and energy forcing the BB at a decreased level compared to AEGs, airsoft rifles, sniper rifles, and other long guns.
Thinking About Green Gas Blowback (GBB) VS Green Gas Non-blowback
There are two different types of green gas airsoft handguns. To begin with there are green gas blowback pistols or GBBs. These pistols run like an authentic handgun with the gun’s slide “blowing back” and cycling with every shot. When a new airsoft BB is loaded into the chamber, the gas induces the slide to cycle. This effect is very cool, but the GBB pistols usually are more expensive and potentially have more which can break. The green gas non-blowback airsoft handguns use a stationary slide which does not cycle. The non-blowback guns commonly cost less than GBBs. Efficiency is about the same when comparing the two varieties of green gas pistols.
About GBB and Green Gas Limits
Because the green gas or propane is kept in the magazine by using rubber o-rings, seals, and silicone gaskets, cold temps can impact these o-rings and allow the stored gas to leak out prior to shooting the handgun. This can cause the airsoft BBs to simply land a number of feet away (like 10 feet in cold temps ) when it would normally shoot BBs over 100+ feet in warmer temps).
One solution to this challenge is to try to keep the GBB pistol mags warmer by holding them next to your body prior to game play. This can help to heat up the seals and help to seal in the green gas. If you definitely prefer to play airsoft with a reliable airsoft pistol in the cold, it might also be better to buy a CO2 variation of your preferred pistol. The CO2 cylinders come sealed and these guns shoot far better in sub-freezing temperatures and while playing in the snow.
Spring Airsoft Handgun Facts
Spring airsoft handguns are powered by strong coil springs that shoot the BBs out of the handgun’s barrel. The manual functioning of reloading, cocking, and shooting spring handguns makes the fire rate much slower than CO2 and GBB airsoft guns.
Spring pistols work best in springer battles where game players can solely use similar, single shot spring weapons or as a transition backup weapon for CQB buildings and MOUT sites when you can frequently sneak up to other airsoft participants to get a guaranteed one-shot-one-kill. In the latter case, a fast second followup shot will not be really needed given that the other opponent is already struck and out of the game or heading back to respawn. When engaging several enemies since the springer only fires as quick as you can re-chamber an airsoft BB manually, be careful.
About Spring Pistol Effectiveness
Spring guns are remarkably useful under the best conditions. Their FPS typically chronos at around 250 FPS to 300 FPS with 0.12 gram airsoft BBs. These pistols typically fire the lighter weight airsoft BBs because the coiled springs are less powerful than other styles of airsoft guns. Spring pistols can usually be accurate at up to 120 feet or more with 0.12 gram BBs however the ability to hit targets diminishes rapidly. Shooting conventional 0.20g weight airsoft BBs, you will very likely have a reduced shooting distance of around 60 to 80 feet with increased accuracy.
AEG Automatic Electric Airsoft Handgun Info
AEG airsoft handguns or AEPs (automatic electric pistols) are definitely an option to use as a backup gun on the airsoft field. These automatic electric handguns are commonly powered by mini stick batteries in the pistol’s butt. They function much like an AEG rifle and use forced air with electrically cycled cylinders, pistons, and gearboxes to shoot airsoft BBs quickly and rapidly.
AEG pistol magazines typically carry about 20 to 30 airsoft BBs. The handguns can shoot airsoft BBs up to around 300 FPS with 0.12g airsoft BBs or 200 to 250 FPS with 0.20g airsoft BBs. The electrically powered gearbox system can shoot around 700+ 6mm BBs per minute which depends on if you have enough magazines to maintain the ammo supply and the battery maintains its charge that long. These handguns can accurately fire airsoft BBs at around 150 foot ranges.
AEG Handgun Quality and Efficiency
AEG handgun quality has actually increased significantly in recent years. The first generation AEP guns were a bit undependable and questionable, however the new models have the problems worked out and make reliable airsoft secondary guns. They can be modded with enhanced mag storage capacities together with accommodating bigger batteries.
A substantial benefit of carrying an AEG handgun is that you have the power to rewire the adapters to use a bigger battery. Depending on the AEG pistol type, you can gain a big output in functionality by taking advantage of a two cell Lipo battery (2S Lipo) instead of the stock mini battery.
What Airsoft Pistol is Right for Me to Buy?
Picking the most ideal airsoft pistol for you depends on how much you can afford, how often you would like to play airsoft with it, and where you decide to play. If you can afford at least $100 to invest in your airsoft pistol, take a look at a green gas pistol or AEP handgun. These guns are typically the top-tier guns, have the best efficiency, and could be a pretty good airsoft gun to invest in. If you can afford about more than $50 but less than $100 to spend on upgrading your airsoft arsenal, check out a CO2 handgun or a more affordable green gas blowback pistol. Mid-tier guns like these will still get the job done and can be sturdy sidearms. Look for a low end CO2 or spring handgun if you have $50 or less. You can still buy a long lasting airsoft pistol to use for the handgun games.
