About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The GoodTake 2 Pack Tactical EDC Pouch Mini Key Wallet Holder Men Coin Purses Pouch Military Army Coin Pocket with Hook Waist Belt Bag for Hunting is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE straps provide a versatile way for users to pick the mounting area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are used in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is quick and easy. All airsoft players have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the system works, let’s check out a few of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft gear starting with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches can be found in all colors and camouflage patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Take a look at the example swatches in the product description for what they appear like:

The GoodTake brand is pretty widely known in the world of airsoft. They produce outstanding quality airsoft pouches and other gear. If you have concerns about their tactical gear or customer service inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s website.
Types of GoodTake MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is usually attached with Velcro. In addition to being available from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most inexpensive methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a few enhancements. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to insert and remove magazines. This allows silent access and increased speed while accessing or refilling weapon equipment. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most sophisticated kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine firmly under tension. In order to make mag accessibility easier and mag reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE accessories so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are typically made of ABS components.
The GoodTake brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t have to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
GoodTake MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches can be found in related styles to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly chosen variations of handgun pouches. Many of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design. This consists of manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are outstanding quality, functional, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are typically far better than one. This pouch shows this to be accurate because it saves you cash from needing to purchase two separate pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever buy pouches individually which you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag collection pouches) make a spot for you to throw empty mags and other things into quickly during battle. These tactical pouches are generally carried on your belt in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty clips after you reload your airsoft gun, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other tactical gear while on the field. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. A first aid pack should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft organizations put to use communications and radios devices in the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
