About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The GOOD TAKE Waterproof Travel First Aid Kits, Oxford Cloth Tactical Waist Pack, Camping Climbing Tactical EMT Medical First Aid IFAK Bag,USA Flag Patch is a tactical pouch. The majority of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps supply a versatile way for users to choose the installation area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are used in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is simple and fast. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can attach to your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camouflage patterns.
About the GoodTake Brand
The GoodTake brand is pretty well-known in the world of airsoft. They make very good quality airsoft equipment and other gear. You can find information on the brand’s site if you have questions about their airsoft gear or customer service questions.
Kinds Of GoodTake MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in style. They are one of the original styles of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually secured with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most inexpensive ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to put in and remove magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be available in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and mag swaps faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The GoodTake brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t have to worry about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
GoodTake MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most typically seen versions of handgun pouches. Most of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same design. This consists of manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are outstanding quality, functional, and are replicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is generally far better than one. This pouch shows this to be true considering that it saves you money from needing to buy a pair of pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never ever buy pouches individually when you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine collection pouches) make a space for you to dump empty magazines and other things into rapidly. These tactical pouches are generally carried on tactical belts in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty magazines after you reload your rifle, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other tac gear while on the airsoft field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra closure security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and includes the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. A first aid pack should include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make a place for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or in a tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft units carry radios and communications equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radio handsets like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
