About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The GOOD TAKE Tactical Molle Pouch, Waist Belt Bag Pocket, Organizer Cell Phone Holster, Waterproof Shoulder Pouch, EDC Gear Tool Gadget Belt is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps provide a versatile way for users to choose the installation area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are managed in the MOLLE management system. Here are the three parts of the mounting system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is quick and easy. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how the system works, let’s have a look at some of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can attach to your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camo patterns.

Kinds Of GoodTake MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is generally secured with Velcro. In addition to being readily available from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are resilient and one of the most budget friendly methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine firmly under pressure. In order to make mag accessibility easier and reloads faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are normally made from ABS construction.
The GoodTake brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps securely hold the magazines so you do not need to worry about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
GoodTake MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches are available in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically chosen versions of pistol pouches. Many of the same manufacturers that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the exact same style. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are outstanding quality, usable, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is generally much better than one. This pouch shows this to be true since it saves you money from having to purchase a pair of pouches. As an example, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all six independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never purchase pouches separately which you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to ditch empty magazines and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring closure tops for extra security while moving on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym meaning individual first aid kit and includes the medical gear airsoft players need when they have to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create room for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups use communications and radios devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radio handsets like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
