About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The GOOD TAKE Tactical Molle Pouch EDC Men Belt Waist Bag Utility Gadget Gear Tool Organizer Pocket with Cell Phone Holster Holder for Outdoor is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches attach with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. MOLLE straps offer a versatile method for users to pick the installation area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are utilized in the MOLLE management system. Here are the three parts of the mounting system: MOLLE pouches, panels, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is simple and fast. All players have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the attachment system works, let’s take a look at a few of the most efficient MOLLE pouches you can attach to your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in all colors and camo patterns. Common pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns consist of: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches below for what they appear like:
About the GoodTake Brand
The GoodTake brand is pretty well-known among airsoft players. They make very good quality airsoft equipment and other products. If you have concerns about their tactical gear or customer service inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s website.
Kinds Of GoodTake MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to have on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in style. They are among the initial styles of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually secured with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch design. In addition to being available from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most cost effective ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of differences. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine firmly under pressure. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and mag reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are generally made from ABS materials.
The GoodTake brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you do not need to be concerned about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
GoodTake MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently used variations of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) create an area for you to throw empty magazines and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for additional security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players need when they have to patch up a gash or injury on the field. A first aid pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create room for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you may need on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft units manage radios and communications equipment on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
