About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The FUNANASUN Molle Dump Pouch, Drawstring Magazine Utility Pouch Folding Dump Pouch Waist Bag is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE pouches have recently ended up being popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to tactical equipment, tactical vests, deployment bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps provide a flexible method for users to select the mounting area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only restriction ends up being which pouches to apply and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are used in the MOLLE gear system. About the FUNANASUN Brand
The FUNANASUN brand is fairly well-known in the world of airsoft. They create pretty good quality airsoft equipment and other products. You can find information on the brand’s website if you have questions about their airsoft pouches or client service questions.
Types of FUNANASUN MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is normally fastened with Velcro. In addition to being available from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most cost effective methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to put in and take out magazines. This allows for quiet access and increased speed while accessing or swapping weapon gear. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine firmly under tension. In order to make mag access easier and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE accessories so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are generally made from ABS construction.
The FUNANASUN brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending on maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you do not have to think about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
FUNANASUN MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in similar styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most commonly found versions of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a clip retrieval pouches) make a space for you to discard empty mags and other things into quickly in the field. These tactical pouches are usually carried on your belt in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after reloads, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while in the field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and includes the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups use radios and communications devices in the field. Using a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
