About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Finesdear Waterproof Waist Belt Bags Canvas Phone Bag Tactical Pocket for Outdoor Sports is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps offer a flexible method for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE means Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are utilized in the MOLLE management system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, pouches, and panels. Mounting tactical pouches is easy and fast. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s take a look at a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can attach to your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches below for what they look like:

Kinds Of Finesdear MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ since they are quite basic in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is typically fastened with Velcro. In addition to being available from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most economical ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the standard mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch style gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to insert and extract magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access easier and mag swaps faster than ever, this design of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE straps so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Finesdear brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps securely hold the magazines so you don’t have to worry about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Finesdear MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches are available in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly used versions of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of magazines are typically better than one. This pouch shows this to be accurate considering that it saves you money from needing to buy two pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never buy pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a spot for you to discard empty mags and other gear into rapidly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for additional security while moving on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK stands for individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players require when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. A first aid kit must contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create a place for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. You can carry things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own separate pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Lots of airsoft units use communications and radios equipment in the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radio handsets like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
