About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Molle Dump Pouch Drawstring Magazine Utility Pouch Folding Dump Pouch Waist Bag is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches attach with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps supply a flexible method for users to pick the installation area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are managed in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the best MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camo patterns.
About the EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Brand
The EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER brand is fairly well-known as a quality brand. They manufacture great quality airsoft pouches and other gear. You can find information on the brand’s site if you have questions about their airsoft gear or consumer service questions.
Kinds Of EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to have on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in design. They are among the initial designs of pouches created to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally attached with Velcro. The flap could include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being offered from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most economical ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of adjustments. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to put in and remove magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be available in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access a lot easier and reloads faster than before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps securely hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches are available in related designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently seen versions of handgun pouches. A number of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design. This consists of manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are exceptional quality, functional, and are reproduced by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is normally better than one. This pouch proves this to be correct since it saves you cash from needing to buy two separate pouches. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never ever purchase pouches separately when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a spot for you to throw empty magazines and other gear into rapidly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for extra security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and includes the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or wound on the field. An emergency treatment kit should contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own special pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Lots of airsoft organizations put to use radios and communications devices in the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
