About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Abcsea Canvas Outdoor Tactical Wallets, Holster Military Molle Hip Waist Belt Bag Wallet Pouch Purse Phone Case with Zipper for iPhone 7 6s Plus 5S Samsung Galaxy S7 S6 LG HTC and More is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps provide a flexible way for users to select the mounting area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the 3 parts of the mounting system: MOLLE pouches, straps, and panels. Installing tactical pouches is easy and quick. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out some of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many different colors and camo patterns.

Kinds Of Abcsea MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are quite standard in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is typically fastened with Velcro. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are resilient and one of the most economical methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of alterations. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to put in and extract magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing pouches. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access a lot easier and clip swaps faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Abcsea brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to think about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Abcsea MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently found variations of handgun pouches. Most of the same manufacturers that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same design. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are excellent quality, usable, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a clip retrieval pouches) create a space for you to place empty mags and other things into quickly in the field. These tactical pouches are typically held in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty clips after reloads, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other tactical gear while on the battlefield. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for added security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players require when they have to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. A first aid kit should include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make a place for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other gear you might need on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft teams work with radios and communications devices in the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
