About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The 2 PCS Tactical Molle Pouches, FULANDL EDC Pouch Multipurpose Utility Gadget Belt Waist Bags with Carabiners Key Hook Nylon Webbing Buckles for Hiking Outdoor Activities is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top option for securing military design pouches to military gear, airsoft vests, deployment bags, and other types of military equipment. MOLLE straps provide a flexible method for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only constraint becomes which pouches to apply and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym meaning Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, straps, and pouches. Installing tactical pouches is quick and easy. All operators have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s take a look at a few of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches are available in all colors and camo patterns. Common pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: forest, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches in the product description for what they look like:
About the FULANDL Brand
The FULANDL brand is quite widely known as a quality brand. They make outstanding quality airsoft pouches and other products. You can find answers on the brand’s website if you have concerns about their airsoft gear or client service questions.
Types of FULANDL MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are quite standard in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is generally attached with Velcro. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most inexpensive methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than before, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE connections so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The FULANDL brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you do not have to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
FULANDL MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically found variations of pistol pouches. Many of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same design. This consists of companies like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are excellent quality, functional, and are replicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of mags are typically much better than one. This pouch shows this to be correct since it saves you cash from having to purchase two pouches. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever purchase pouches individually when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to throw empty mags and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for additional security while on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players need when they have to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. An emergency treatment kit should contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own specific pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft groups carry radios and communications devices on the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
