The army started issuing new digital camo uniforms in the spring of 2005. Designed to provide camouflage in multiple environments, from woodland to desert to urban, it is currently being used by soldiers in Iraq. Please note that these are not ACUs, but BDUs in the new ACU Digital Camo pattern.
