About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Wisfun Chest Rig Bag, Adjustable Functional Shoulder Pack Walkie Talkie Harness Radio Holster Outdoor Sports Chest Bag Tactical Chest Rig is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE pouches have recently ended up being popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military style pouches to gear, vests, deployment bags, and other types of military equipment. MOLLE straps provide a unique method for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location. The only restriction ends up being which pouches to utilize and where to put them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are managed in the MOLLE management system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, panels, and pouches. Mounting tactical pouches is simple and quick. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the best MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Check out the example swatches below for what they look like:
About the Wisfun Brand
The Wisfun brand is pretty prominently known among airsoft players. They produce really good quality airsoft equipment and other products. If you have questions about their gear or customer support inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s site.
Types of Wisfun MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty standard in style. They are among the initial designs of pouches developed to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the basic mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to put in and remove magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing pouches. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE connections so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Wisfun brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Wisfun MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in related designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this resilient Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently chosen variations of handgun pouches. Most of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same style. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are outstanding quality, functional, and are reproduced by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are usually much better than one. This pouch proves this to be accurate given that it saves you money from needing to purchase two pouches. As an example, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never ever buy pouches individually which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to discard empty magazines and other things into quickly in the field. These tactical pouches are usually carried on your belt in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after you reload your rifle, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other gear while in the field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra closure security while moving with a pouch that is full.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym for individual first aid kit and includes the medical gear airsoft players need when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. A first aid pack should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create room for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own special pouch), and other gear you might require on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft organizations talk on radios and communications devices on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radio handsets like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
