About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Senmir MOLLE Pouch/Molle Bag/Tactical Waist Bag/Gadget Pouch is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently become popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top choice for securing military style pouches to tactical equipment, airsoft vests, range bags, and other types of equipment. MOLLE straps offer a unique method for users to select the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location. The only restriction ends up being which pouches to manage and where to put them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are employed in the MOLLE management system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, panels, and pouches. Installing tactical pouches is quick and simple. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out some of the best MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camouflage patterns.
About the Senmir Brand
The Senmir brand is pretty popular in the world of airsoft. They create good quality airsoft pouches and other gear. You can find information on the brand’s website if you have concerns about their airsoft pouches or client service questions.
Types of Senmir MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are quite standard in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is normally secured with Velcro. In addition to being available from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are resilient and one of the most budget-friendly ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are comparable to the standard mag pouches with a few modifications. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine tightly under stretchy bungees. In order to make mag access easier and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE accessories so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are generally made of ABS components.
The Senmir brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps firmly hold the magazines so you do not need to worry about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Senmir MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches can be found in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which come in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most typically found versions of pistol pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same style.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all six independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to dump empty magazines and other gear into during fights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players require when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else generally. You can carry things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own specific pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft teams employ communications and radios equipment on the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
