About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The OneTigris MOLLE Admin Pouch 8″ x 5″ x 2.5″ Multicam Tactical Pouch is a tactical pouch. Most tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently become popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military style pouches to military gear, vests, range bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps offer a flexible way for users to choose the mounting area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only restriction becomes which pouches to use and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE represents Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are employed in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is simple and fast. All you have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how the attachment system works, let’s take a look at some of the best MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft gear starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many different colors and camouflage patterns.

Types of OneTigris MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to have on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in design. They are one of the initial designs of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is normally secured with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being available from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most affordable ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few modifications. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to put in and extract magazines. This allows for quiet access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing gear. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most innovative kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are built into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine firmly under pressure. In order to make mag access simpler and mag changes faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch elements are generally made from ABS components.
The OneTigris brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized stress bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to worry about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
OneTigris MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches are available in similar styles to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which come in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this resilient Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically found versions of handgun pouches. A lot of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same style.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. Two is usually far better than one. This pouch proves this to be correct because it saves you cash from needing to purchase a pair of pouches. For instance, the cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever purchase pouches one at a time when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag collection pouches) make a space for you to dump empty mags and other gear into quickly during firefights. These tactical pouches are generally carried on tactical belts in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after you reload your rifle, additional airsoft BBs/shells, and other tac gear while on the battlefield. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack needs to contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups manage communications and radios equipment on the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
