About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Narcan Compact molle Carry Pouch is a tactical pouch. The majority of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps provide a versatile way for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and identifies the pouches, panels, and straps which are used in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft gear starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches are available in all colors and camouflage patterns. Typical pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Take a look at the example swatches in the product description for what they look like:

Types of NarcanKit Compact molle MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty standard in design. They are one of the initial designs of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap could include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most cost effective methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of alterations. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most innovative kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine tightly under stretchy bungees. In order to make mag access easier and magazine changes faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE accessories so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch components are typically made of ABS materials.
The NarcanKit Compact molle brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps securely hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
NarcanKit Compact molle MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in related designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which come in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this resilient Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most typically found variations of handgun pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a clip collection pouches) create a space for you to dump empty magazines and other things into quickly. These tactical pouches are usually carried in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty clips after you reload your gun, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while in the battlefield. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a pouch full of empty magazines.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and includes the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack must include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other gear you may need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft organizations employ radios and communications equipment in the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
