About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The MUMUGUO Outdoor MOLLE Tactical Military Pouch Army Black Waist Holster Smartphone Pouch Military 1000D Nylon Hook Loop Belt Phone Holster Phone with Slim Case is a tactical pouch. The majority of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps offer a versatile way for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the three parts of the mounting system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Mounting tactical pouches is quick and easy. All operators have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches in the product description for what they look like:

Kinds Of MUMUGUO MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ since they are quite basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is usually attached with Velcro. In addition to being offered from many tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most affordable ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to put in and remove magazines. This allows silent access and increased speed while accessing or swapping weapon equipment. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and reloads faster than ever, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE straps so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The MUMUGUO brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you don’t have to worry about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
MUMUGUO MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches can be found in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically used versions of pistol pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of mags are normally much better than one. This pouch shows this to be accurate given that it saves you cash from having to buy a pair of pouches. As an example, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all six independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever buy pouches separately when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) create a spot for you to throw empty mags and other gear into quickly. These tactical pouches are usually held in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty mags after you reload your rifle, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while on the battlefield. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a pouch that is full.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack must include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding tools, folded maps, pens, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else generally. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft teams work with communications and radios devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
