About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The MFH Utility Pouch Large MOLLE Operation Camo is a tactical pouch. Most tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have recently become popular in the last several years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to gear, vests, deployment bags, and other types of military equipment. MOLLE straps provide a flexible method for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area. The only limitation becomes which pouches to use and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE management system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is easy and quick. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s have a look at some of the most efficient MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear beginning with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many various colors and camo patterns.

Kinds Of MFH MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in style. They are one of the initial styles of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally fastened with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most affordable methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of alterations. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility easier and mag swaps faster than ever, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The MFH brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on maker). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps safely hold the magazines so you do not have to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
MFH MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently used variations of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are usually far better than one. This pouch shows this to be true given that it saves you cash from needing to buy two pouches. For instance, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never ever purchase pouches separately which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to ditch empty mags and other gear into during gunfights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK is an acronym meaning individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players require when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit must include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else normally. You can carry things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might require on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft groups work with radios and communications equipment in the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
