Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, straps, and pouches. Installing tactical pouches is simple and quick. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Kinds Of LIVANS MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally secured with Velcro. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most inexpensive ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to place and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine firmly under stretchy bungees. In order to make mag access easier and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch components are typically made of ABS materials.
The LIVANS brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
LIVANS MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently found versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all six separately (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to ditch empty magazines and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring closure tops for additional security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK is an acronym meaning individual first aid kit and includes the equipment airsoft players require when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. A first aid pack must contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own separate pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft organizations use communications and radios devices on the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
