About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The JustGoodKit Tactical Pencil Pouch, EDC Pocket Protector, EDC Organizer, Tactical Belt Pouch, Tactical Backpack Accessories, Deployment Gift, EDC Pocket Pouch secures Writing Tools in Reach is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last several years due to tactical developments and inventions. They are the top option for securing military design pouches to equipment, airsoft vests, range bags, and other kinds of field gear. MOLLE straps provide a flexible method for users to pick the mounting area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area. The only restriction becomes which pouches to employ and where to put them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and identifies the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE gear system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the most effective MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Have a look at the example swatches below for what they appear like:

Kinds Of JustGoodKit MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to have on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty standard in style. They are one of the original designs of pouches developed to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally fastened with Velcro. The flap might feature a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most cost effective ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to place and remove magazines. This allows for quiet access and increased speed while accessing or swapping gun gear. These mag pouches can come in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility easier and reloads faster than before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The JustGoodKit brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized stress bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t need to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
JustGoodKit MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically chosen versions of pistol pouches. Many of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same style. This consists of companies like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are exceptional quality, functional, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of magazines are generally better than one. This pouch shows this to be true considering that it saves you cash from having to purchase two pouches. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never buy pouches separately when you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to throw empty magazines and other things into during gunfights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK stands for individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a cut or wound on the field. An emergency treatment kit needs to contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create a place for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else generally. You can carry things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own separate pouch), and other gear you may need on the airsoft field or tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft teams use communications and radios devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
