About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Jipemtra Tactical Pouch Waist Pack Fanny Pack Military Hip Belt Bag Fanny Packs Water Resistant Waist Bag Pouch Molle with Detachable Water Bottle Holder (Tan #2) is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and gear efficiency focused products. They are the top option for securing military design pouches to gear, vests, range bags, and other types of field gear. MOLLE straps provide a unique way for users to select the mounting area and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel location. The only limitation becomes which pouches to employ and where to position them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE means Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE pouches, straps, and panels. Mounting tactical pouches is fast and easy. All you have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the attachment system works, let’s have a look at some of the best MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft gear starting with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches can be found in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors include: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: forest, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Take a look at the example swatches in the product description for what they appear like:
About the Jipemtra Brand
The Jipemtra brand is pretty well-known in the world of airsoft. They manufacture fairly good quality airsoft pouches and other products. If you have concerns about their tactical pouches or customer support inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s site.
Types of Jipemtra MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in design. They are one of the initial styles of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is generally secured with Velcro. The flap could include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being available from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most affordable methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine tightly under pressure. In order to make mag access easier and mag swaps faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE attachments so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are usually made from ABS materials.
The Jipemtra brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized tension bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps securely hold the magazines so you do not need to worry about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Jipemtra MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches are available in related styles to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically chosen versions of pistol pouches. A number of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are excellent quality, functional, and are reproduced by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. Two is generally much better than one. This pouch shows this to be correct considering that it saves you money from needing to purchase two separate pouches. As an example, the cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never buy pouches individually when you can get them grouped.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag retrieval pouches) make a space for you to dump empty magazines and other things into rapidly. These tactical pouches are generally carried in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after you reload your rifle, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while in the field. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack should include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. You can carry things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own special pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft organizations talk on communications and radios devices in the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
