About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Huntvp Tactical Wallet EDC Money Holder Rodeo Checkbook Cowboy Wallet Gift is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design attachments. MOLLE pouches have recently become popular in the last few years due to tactical innovations and inventions. They are the top choice for securing military design pouches to gear, vests, deployment bags, and other kinds of equipment. MOLLE straps provide a flexible way for users to select the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area. The only restriction ends up being which pouches to adopt and where to place them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE means Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE management system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, pouches, and panels. Installing tactical pouches is fast and simple. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s take a look at some of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft gear beginning with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camo patterns.
About the Huntvp Brand
The Huntvp brand is quite well-known in the world of airsoft. They make fairly good quality airsoft equipment and other products. You can find answers on the brand’s site if you have questions about their airsoft pouches or customer service questions.
Kinds Of Huntvp MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally fastened with Velcro. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most economical methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of alterations. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to place and remove magazines. This allows quiet access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and clip swaps faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE attachments so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Huntvp brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you do not have to think about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Huntvp MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this resilient Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most typically found variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a spot for you to ditch empty magazines and other things into quickly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack must contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create a place for carrying multitools, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you might require on the airsoft field or tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft groups put to use radios and communications devices on the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
