About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Hannahool D30 Tactical Molle Waist Bags Men’s Outdoor Sport Casual Waist Pack Purse Mobile Phone Case for Samsung Note 2 3 4 Ect/Apple 4,4S,5,5S,6,6S Ect (Black) is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps supply a flexible way for users to select the mounting area and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are utilized in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the best MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches are available in all colors and camouflage patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Common pouch camouflage patterns include: woodland, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. About the Hannahool Brand
The Hannahool brand is quite popular among airsoft players. They make outstanding quality airsoft pouches and other gear. If you have questions about their pouches or customer inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s business website.
Types of Hannahool MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty standard in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally attached with Velcro. In addition to being offered from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a few modifications. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to insert and take out magazines. This allows silent access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing equipment. These mag pouches can come in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine firmly under pressure. In order to make mag access easier and mag changes faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch uses MOLLE accessories so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are typically made from ABS construction.
The Hannahool brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t have to be concerned about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Hannahool MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches are available in related designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which can be found in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently used versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the same style.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. A pair of mags are usually better than one. This pouch shows this to be correct considering that it saves you money from having to purchase two separate pouches. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never buy pouches separately when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a space for you to throw empty mags and other gear into rapidly. Some dump pouches also have drawstring closure tops for extra security while moving on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. A first aid kit should contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. Think spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own separate pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft units carry communications and radios equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
