About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The GOOD TAKE Men Tactical Molle Pouch Belt Waist Pack Bag Small Pocket Military Waist Pack Running Pouch Travel Camping Bags Soft Back,Sports Fitness, Running,Waist Packs Bags is a tactical pouch. The majority of tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps offer a versatile way for users to pick the installation location and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and defines the pouches, panels, and straps which are applied in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s look at some of the top MOLLE pouches you can add to your airsoft gear starting with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camo patterns.
About the GoodTake Brand
The GoodTake brand is quite widely known as a quality gear maker. They manufacture excellent quality airsoft equipment and other gear. You can find answers on the brand’s site if you have concerns about their airsoft gear or client service questions.
Kinds Of GoodTake MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty standard in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is typically fastened with Velcro. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most inexpensive ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a couple of adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to insert and extract magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while accessing or reloading gun equipment. These mag pouches can be found in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility a lot easier and clip swaps faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE connections so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The GoodTake brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
GoodTake MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly found versions of handgun pouches. Many of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) make an area for you to ditch empty mags and other gear into during fights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players require when they have to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack should include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might require on the airsoft field or in a tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft units put to use radios and communications devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
