ESEE Fixed Blade MOLLE Back Sheath Models 5 & 6
This MOLLE back fits both the ESEE-5 and ESEE-6 hard sheaths. Simply align the holes in the lower portion with the holes in the sheath and use the four screws and posts provided to securely fasten the MOLLE back to the sheath. The top of the MOLLE back has both an adjustable handle retention strap and a flap that can be slipped over the pommel end of the knife and secured tight with the Para cord and cord lock, making the RC5 or RC6 sheath jump safe. Both the top portion and lower portion of the MOLLE back have a built in belt loop and have MOLLE straps compatible with the military and LEO PALS system. The top portion of the MOLLE back can be removed from the bottom portion by unsnapping the lower MOLLE strap and threading it through the plastic ring holding the two halves of the MOLLE back together. You can then thread the strap back through an extra plastic ring (provided) before re-threading the strap through the lower cross straps to secure it to a belt or gear again. The extra plastic ring allows you to retain the extender capability when only using the lower portion of the MOLLE back. As with any MOLLE strap system always thread the long strap under the last cross strap right above the snap to make sure the snap stays securely fastened. Failure to do so can result in unwanted release of the snap under extreme stress.

About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The ESEE Fixed Blade MOLLE Back Sheath Models 5 & 6 is a tactical pouch. A lot of tactical pouches connect with MOLLE snap straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps supply a versatile way for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE means Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are applied in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, straps, and pouches. Mounting tactical pouches is fast and simple. Just thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the attachment system works, let’s have a look at a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can put on your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camouflage patterns.
About the ESEE Brand
The ESEE brand is pretty widely known as a quality pouch manufacturer. They make very good quality airsoft equipment and other gear. If you have questions about their tactical gear or troubleshooting inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s site.
Kinds Of ESEE MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty basic in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is normally fastened with Velcro. In addition to being readily available from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are long lasting and one of the most inexpensive ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a couple of adjustments. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most innovative kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine tightly under tension. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE accessories so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch components are generally made of ABS components.
The ESEE brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending upon manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps securely hold the magazines so you do not need to think about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
ESEE MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in similar styles to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of basic handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently found variations of pistol pouches. Many of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a spot for you to ditch empty mags and other things into rapidly. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for additional security while on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a cut or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own special pouch), and other equipment you might require on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Lots of airsoft teams manage radios and communications devices on the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
