About the EpicDealz Brand
The EpicDealz brand is fairly well-known in the world of airsoft. They create outstanding quality airsoft equipment and other gear. If you have concerns about their gear or troubleshooting inquiries, you can find answers on the brand’s website.
Types of EpicDealz MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are also called ‘basic’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in style. They are among the original styles of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most affordable methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the standard mag pouches with a few differences. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most advanced kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine tightly under pressure. In order to make mag access easier and magazine swaps faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE accessories so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch components are typically made from ABS materials.
The EpicDealz brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized bungee bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t have to think about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
EpicDealz MOLLE Airsoft Gun Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes several standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this resilient Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently found variations of handgun pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are normally much better than one. This pouch proves this to be true given that it saves you money from having to buy two pouches. As an example, the expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines). Never ever buy pouches individually when you can get them together.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag recovery pouches) make a spot for you to throw empty magazines and other gear into quickly during firefights. These tactical pouches are normally carried on tactical belts in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to increase in size and hold empty clips after you reload your gun, additional airsoft BBs/shells, and other tac gear while in the airsoft field. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for added security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and includes the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a cut or injury on the field. A first aid pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make room for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own separate pouch), and other gear you might require on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft teams carry radios and communications equipment in the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
