About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The Diydeg Water Bottle Bag, Water Bottle Sling Bag Water Bottle Case, with Strap Cover Sleeve Thermal Holder Bag Hiking Camping for Outdoor Use Sports is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE pouches have just recently ended up being popular in the last few years due to tactical developments and inventions. They are the top option for securing military design pouches to tactical gear, tactical vests, range bags, and other types of field gear. MOLLE straps provide a flexible way for users to select the mounting location and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location. The only constraint ends up being which pouches to employ and where to put them.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym meaning Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are adopted in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE pouches, panels, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is simple and quick. All operators have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s have a look at some of the most functional MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment starting with airsoft weapon magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camouflage patterns.
About the Diydeg Brand
The Diydeg brand is pretty well-known in the world of airsoft. They make really good quality airsoft equipment and other products. You can find answers on the brand’s site if you have questions about their airsoft pouches or consumer service questions.
Kinds Of Diydeg MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in design. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally secured with Velcro. In addition to being available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most affordable ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the basic mag pouches with a couple of modifications. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to put in and remove magazines. This enables quiet access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing pouches. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access simpler and mag swaps faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE connections so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Diydeg brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag design use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps safely hold the magazines so you do not have to worry about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Diydeg MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of basic pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most frequently found versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all six individually (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a spot for you to ditch empty mags and other things into rapidly. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for additional security while moving on the run with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the medical gear airsoft players need when they need to patch up a scrape or injury on the field. An emergency treatment pack should include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else normally. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups employ communications and radios equipment in the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
