About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Armiya Mens Tactical Molle Sling Bag Small Shoulder Waist Backpacks Cell Phone Purse for Casual Outdoor Hiking Camping is a tactical pouch. Most tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps offer a versatile method for users to pick the installation location and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on gear where there is a MOLLE accessory panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE represents Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the three parts of the mounting system: MOLLE panels, pouches, and straps. Installing tactical pouches is simple and fast. All players have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out some of the best MOLLE pouches you can attach to your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft gun mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in many various colors and camo patterns.

Kinds Of Armiya MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to carry on your gear for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ because they are pretty basic in style. They are among the initial designs of pouches designed to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for added security that is normally fastened with Velcro. The flap might feature a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being available from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most budget-friendly ways to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a couple of adjustments. As the tactical pouch name indicates, this pouch style removes the flap leaving an open top to put in and take out magazines. This allows silent access and increased speed while accessing or refilling gun gear. These mag pouches can come in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access a lot easier and reloads faster than before, this style of tactical pouch utilizes MOLLE straps so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Armiya brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing types of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cords or rubberized bungee bands (depending upon manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and providing a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps safely hold the magazines so you don’t need to be concerned about losing the mag during quick motions, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Armiya MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Handgun magazine pouches come in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which are available in the standard design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines effectively with this long lasting Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most frequently used versions of pistol pouches. A lot of the same manufacturers which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same design.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch including both a rifle and pistol magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine retrieval pouches) make a spot for you to discard empty mags and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches also have drawstring closure tops for additional security while on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and contains the equipment airsoft players require when they need to patch up a gash or wound on the field. An emergency treatment kit should include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, several sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for holding multitools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own special pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Many airsoft groups carry radios and communications devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
