Extra Info
Valken ASL+ Series M4 Airsoft Rifle AEG 6mm Rifle (Sierra) is a good ranged gun for shooting at opponents at intermediate range shots on the field. This airsoft rifle is made by Valken mostly in Asia and is shipped to North America for airsoft use under Valken international trademarks.
When playing airsoft, Airsoft rifles are the main weapons used. Because of this, these long guns are dominant in battles, are combat effective, and work very well on playing fields. Long guns are usually used along with pistols and sniper rifles and are part of a total airsoft tactical load out.
When thinking about the distance airsoft rifles can shoot, bear in mind the typical contact range for rifle use on airsoft fields is around 140 feet and in around 50 feet in indoor airsoft arenas which the gun can manage quite easily. The gun shoots airsoft BBs quickly in full-auto or semi-auto select fire modes and is durable, well-designed and solidly constructed. With proper care and weapon maintenance, this brand airsoft rifle should continue to shoot for many games of airsoft.
Airsoft Gun Maintenance
The weapon should be taken care of following standard airsoft weapon care and cleaning methods. These practices include:
- Cleaning up the airsoft weapon’s chamber and barrel and keeping the inner workings free of dirt and debris
- Drying the gun if it is wet, carried in the rain, or submerged in water
- Using silicone oil to lube the inner barrel, valves, gaskets, and other oscillating gun parts to keep them lubed and functioning properly
- Removing and replacing well-worn pieces and parts when they are broken
- Caring for and lubricating the hop-up system, hop-up nub, and bucking
- Placing the airsoft rifle in a resilient, discreet deployment bag
- If you adjust the FPS limits of the gun, make certain your upgrades and FPS limitations are within the airsoft playing field’s requirements
Airsoft Weapon Upgrades
Here are a number of issues to remember if you are interested in improving your weapon. This weapon might work with airsoft gun parts and training weapon components from different aftermarket airsoft weapon part makers. When planning for airsoft gun upgrades for resilience, you generally have to enhance a number of things at once.
Typical AEG airsoft gun upgrades can consist of:
- Replacing the AEG gearbox components for enhanced durability
- Upgrading the AEG spring for increased FPS
- Improving gearbox internal parts like the gearset, piston, cylinder head, bushings, tappet plate, and trigger
- Enhancing electrical systems and wiring including low resistance circuitry, a higher mAh battery, a high-torque AEG motor, and use of a TitanGate MOSFET with an electronic trigger unit
For spring airsoft rifles, upgradable parts can consist of:
- The spring – replace with a more powerful, irregular pitch spring like a M120 or whatever is legal for airsoft arena use
- Trigger group – upgrade the trigger group and bolt mechanisms for resilience
About Valken Brand
Valken is fairly well-known among airsoft players. They manufacture great quality airsoft guns and other gear. You can find responses on the brand’s website if you have questions about their airsoft weapons or customer service questions.
Airsoft Rifle Aiming Techniques
Airsoft rifles are very useful long-range weapons. They can shoot over 140+ feet. Airsoft rifles like the weapon have broad applications on the airsoft field from close quarters BB wars (keep in mind the safety first minimum engagement ranges and guidelines) along with long-range engagements. For close quarters, hold the rifle in a manner where you can quickly shoot and aim at targets. This includes using the rifle’s rear stock to bear the airsoft gun in addition to holding the rifle at angles away from your cover.
An advanced method to engage opposing players with this brand rifle in close-up environments is to secure the stock (or rear of the weapon) in between your arm and body to shorten the overall length of the airsoft weapon in front of you. This tactic is useful to keep the weapon close to your body when using the weapon in areas which permit teams to play with airsoft rifles in enclosed areas for room to room clearing and close in fighting.
When shooting the Valken ASL+ Series M4 Airsoft Rifle AEG 6mm Rifle (Sierra) rifle at targets farther away, shoulder the weapon’s stock for a firm and steady shooting stance. This will give you the very best precision for shooting airsoft BBs over longer ranges at 100+ feet.
Airsoft Safety
Airsoft weapons like the Valken ASL+ Series M4 Airsoft Rifle AEG 6mm Rifle (Sierra) do have safety concerns and must just be played with under game staff’s supervision. All players, spectators, and other people in the game area or close to where airsoft guns are being shot need to have protective gear eye and face ANSI rated protection.
