About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that tour of duty, mission, or operation. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning spot. Sew-on patches should use strong stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The main front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the US Navy Seal Team 3 Dark Angel DEVGRU 31A Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (Black) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch normally hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
