Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that assignment, mission, or campaign. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
