About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great method to develop camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that operation, mission, or task. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
About Appalachian Spirit Morale Patches
Patches like the Sew or Iron on Patches – Cute Band Aid Patch for Kids Clothing, Biker Jackets, Jeans, Backpacks – Pack of 1PC – Size: 2.5×2.5 inch made by the Appalachian Spirit normally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to remove Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
