About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that mission, assignment, or operation. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, uniform, or bag panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the placement spot. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The main front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Mudflap Girl Trucker Sexy Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (tan) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch typically hold up pretty well. Ensure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread includes taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. It is a good choice to remove Velcro patches before cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
