About the Tactic World Brand
The Tactic World brand is pretty widely known among airsoft players. They manufacture decent quality airsoft pouches and other gear. If you have concerns about their tactical gear or customer service inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s site.
Types of Tactic World MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are quite basic in style. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for extra security that is generally attached with Velcro. In addition to being readily available from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are resilient and one of the most budget friendly methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types are similar to the standard mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to place and extract magazines. This allows for silent access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing equipment. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most advanced kind of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are constructed into the magazine pocket so that it carries the magazine securely under tension. In order to make mag access easier and mag swaps faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch uses MOLLE accessories so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch elements are typically made of ABS materials.
The Tactic World brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized tension bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps safely hold the magazines so you do not have to worry about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing over things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Tactic World MOLLE Airsoft Gun Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches can be found in related styles to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this long lasting Velcro flip top style.
The open top and open top with retention pistol pouches are the most commonly used versions of handgun pouches. Many of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the exact same style.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. A pair of magazines are typically better than one. This pouch proves this to be correct considering that it saves you cash from having to buy two pouches. For instance, the cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over buying all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines). Never purchase pouches one at a time which you can get them as a group.
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) make a space for you to throw empty mags and other things into quickly. These tactical pouches are generally carried in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be rapidly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty magazines after reloads, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other equipment while on the airsoft field. Some dump pouches also have drawstring tops for extra security while moving with a pouch that is full.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and includes the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit should contain the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create space for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field gear. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own unique pouch), and other equipment you might need on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft units talk on radios and communications devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and portable radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
