About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The FIRECLUB Tactical Molle 14 x 5.5 Protable Travel Kit Flashlight Bag Tactical Unsex MOLLE Single Mag Pouch Belt Waist Pack Bag is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches attach with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. MOLLE straps provide a flexible method for users to select the mounting place and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are employed in the MOLLE equipment system. Here are the three parts of the installing system: MOLLE straps, panels, and pouches. Installing tactical pouches is easy and fast. All operators have to do is thread the straps and snap the buttons to set them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s check out a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft weapon mag pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of different colors and camouflage patterns.

Kinds Of FIRECLUB MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are necessary to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are also called ‘standard’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in design. They are among the original designs of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is generally attached with Velcro. The flap could include a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch design. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical equipment companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most economical methods to hold magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to place and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag access a lot easier and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE straps so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The FIRECLUB brand also makes retention mag pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending upon manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard pull up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps securely hold the magazines so you do not need to be concerned about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
FIRECLUB MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The handgun magazine pouches which can be found in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft weapon magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly found versions of handgun pouches. A number of the same companies that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same design. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are outstanding quality, usable, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) savings over purchasing all 6 separately (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to ditch empty magazines and other things into during fights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring closure tops for additional security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players need when they need to patch up a gash or wound on the field. A first aid kit should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field items. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else generally. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own specific pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft organizations work with communications and radios devices on the field. Running a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 series and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
