The gun shoots airsoft BBs fast in full-auto or semi-auto shooting modes and is durably built and solidly constructed. With proper care and weapon maintenance, this brand airsoft rifle will probably continue to shoot for many tournaments of airsoft.

- Replacing worn out components and parts

Airsoft Weapon Upgrades
If you have an interest in upgrading your gun, here are a handful of recommendations to take note of. This weapon might work with airsoft gun parts and weapon components from various custom airsoft gun part producers. When adding AEG upgrades for longevity, you usually have to improve a number of internal parts simultaneously.
As an example, common AEG airsoft gun upgrades can consist of:
- Enhancing the AEG gearbox casing for strengthened resilience
- Upgrading the AEG spring for higher FPS
- Upgrading gearbox AEG gun parts like the gearset, piston, cylinder head, bushings, tappet plate, and trigger
- Upgrading electrical wiring and internals consisting of low resistance wiring, an upgraded battery, a high-torque AEG motor, and use of a MOSFET switch with an electronic trigger system
For spring airsoft rifles, upgradable parts can include:
- The spring – replace with a more powerful, irregular pitch spring like a M120 or whatever is legal for airsoft arena use
- Trigger group – upgrade the trigger group and bolt systems for durability

Airsoft rifles are very effective long-range weapons. They can shoot over 140+ feet. Airsoft rifles like the weapon have broad applications on the airsoft field from close quarters skirmishes (keep in mind the safety first minimum engagement ranges and guidelines) in addition to long-range sniper battles. For CQB, hold the rifle in such a way where you can quickly aim and fire at targets. This includes using the rifle’s stock to bear the airsoft weapon in addition to holding the rifle at vectors away from your position.
Another tactical method to shoot this brand rifle in close-range environments is to clamp the stock (or back of the weapon) between your upper arm and torso to reduce the total length of the airsoft weapon and bring it closer to you. This method is practical to keep the weapon closer to your body when using the weapon in areas which permit players to shoot airsoft rifles indoors for room to room clearing and close in fighting.
When shooting the Lancer Tactical Airsoft M4 SD GEN 2 Polymer AEG – TAN rifle over 100 feet, shoulder the gun’s stock for a firm and stable shooting position. This will provide the greatest accuracy for shooting airsoft BBs over longer distances at 30+ meters.
