About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The Bianchi AccuMold Elite Brass Snap 7911 Covered Compact Light Pouch is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop style accessories. What is MOLLE?

Types of Bianchi AccuMold Elite MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft gun rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty standard in style. They are among the initial designs of pouches designed to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually attached with Velcro. The flap could feature a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being offered from lots of tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouch types resemble the basic mag pouches with a couple of enhancements. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design gets rid of the flap leaving an open top to place and extract magazines. This allows for quiet access and increased speed while reloading guns or accessing gear. These mag pouches can be available in single or triple magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the most recent and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and reloads faster than ever, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE straps so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The Bianchi AccuMold Elite brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag design use varying types of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending on manufacturer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the stress straps firmly hold the magazines so you do not have to be concerned about losing the mag during fast motions, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
Bianchi AccuMold Elite MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Pistol Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches are available in similar designs to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which come in the basic design have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a few standard pistol pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines effectively with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly seen versions of handgun pouches. A number of the same manufacturers that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the very same style. This includes manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch designs are excellent quality, functional, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and pistol magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all six individually (3x rifle and 3x handgun magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create an area for you to throw empty magazines and other gear into during fights. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for additional security while moving on the run with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft gear loadout. IFAK means individual first aid kit and contains the medical gear airsoft players require when they have to patch up a gash or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack should contain the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, trauma shears, tweezers, and Other items.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, compasses, and other field items. These pouches are basic use pouches for odds and ends which don’t go anywhere else usually. Think of things like extra airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own unique pouch), and other gear you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical circumstance.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft units carry communications and radios equipment on the field. Operating a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications gear while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
