About MOLLE Pouches and Equipment
The AMYIPO Water Bottle Pouch Molle Tactical Holder Storage Bag is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE webbing straps and hook-and-loop style attachments. MOLLE straps offer a flexible method for users to select the installation place and position of the pouch and install them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE attachment panel area.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and refers to the pouches, panels, and straps which are put to use in the MOLLE gear system. Here are the 3 parts of the installing system: MOLLE panels, straps, and pouches. Mounting tactical pouches is quick and simple. Merely thread the straps and snap the buttons to secure them in place. Now that we understand what MOLLE is and how the gear system works, let’s take a look at a few of the best MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft gear beginning with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches come in lots of various colors and camouflage patterns.
About the AMYIPO Brand
The AMYIPO brand is pretty prominently known in the world of airsoft. They produce good quality airsoft equipment and other products. If you have questions about their tactical pouches or customer service inquiries, you can find answers on the brand’s site.
Kinds Of AMYIPO MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are essential to carry on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other types of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘basic’ pouches or simply ‘mag pouches’ since they are pretty basic in design. They are one of the initial designs of pouches created to carry extra magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually fastened with Velcro. The flap might feature a plastic side-release buckle depending upon pouch style. In addition to being available from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, basic rifle magazine pouches are durable and among the most economical ways to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches are similar to the basic mag pouches with a few adjustments. As the tactical pouch name suggests, this pouch design removes the flap leaving an open top to insert and remove magazines.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the latest and most innovative type of tactical mag pouches. The retention systems are developed into the magazine pocket so that it holds the magazine securely under pressure. In order to make mag access simpler and reloads faster than ever before, this style of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE accessories so it can be mounted at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest. The pouch parts are typically made from ABS materials.
The AMYIPO brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use varying kinds of retention to grip the magazines and provide security including bungee cables or rubberized stress bands (depending upon producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and giving it a hard tug up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the bungee straps firmly hold the magazines so you don’t need to think about losing the mag during fast movements, crawling, climbing up things, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
AMYIPO MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar designs to the rifle pouches with standard flip top, open top, and open top with retention styles of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the basic style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a number of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this durable Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most commonly used variations of handgun pouches. A lot of the same companies which make rifle mag pouches make matching handgun magazine pouches in the very same style.
Combo Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired design of pouch including both a rifle and handgun magazine. The cost of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equates to about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over buying all 6 independently (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a mag retrieval pouches) make a space for you to place empty mags and other gear into rapidly. These tactical pouches are usually held in a rolled up position and secured by a snap or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty magazines after reloads, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other gear while in the field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added closure security while moving with a filled pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and includes the medical gear airsoft players require when they need to patch up a gash or injury on the field. An emergency treatment kit must include the following items: medical tape or cloth tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antibacterial wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches create room for carrying tools, folded maps, pens, and other field supplies. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they don’t have their own separate pouch), and other gear you might require on the airsoft field or tactical scenario.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Accessories
Lots of airsoft organizations work with radios and communications equipment in the field. Adopting a radio pouch with MOLLE attachments helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These small radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and family band radios like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
