About MOLLE Pouches and Gear
The AGOZ Military Grade Belt Clip Pouch Case Holster Compatible with Car Key Remote FOB, Inhaler, Pepper Spray, Mace, Narcan, Small Blade Knife, Small Hand Sanitizer 4.3″x2.2″x1″ is a tactical pouch. Many tactical pouches connect with MOLLE straps and hook-and-loop design accessories. MOLLE straps provide a versatile way for users to choose the mounting place and position of the pouch and mount them anywhere on equipment where there is a MOLLE accessory panel location.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment and describes the pouches, panels, and straps which are applied in the MOLLE equipment system. Now that we know what MOLLE is and how it works, let’s check out some of the top MOLLE pouches you can include in your airsoft equipment beginning with airsoft gun magazine pouches.
Colors of MOLLE Pouches and Camouflage Patterns
MOLLE tactical pouches can be found in all colors and camo patterns. Typical pouch colors consist of: black, tan, OD green (olive drab), foliage green (sage), ranger green, and grey. Typical pouch camouflage patterns consist of: forest, desert, A-TACs, Multicam, ACU (Army Combat Uniform), digital, and others. Take a look at the example swatches below for what they appear like:
About the AGOZ Brand
The AGOZ brand is quite highly-rated as a quality pouch manufacturer. They produce excellent quality airsoft equipment and other gear. If you have questions about their tactical gear or customer inquiries, you can find additional information on the brand’s site.
Types of AGOZ MOLLE Pouches
Standard Rifle Magazine Pouches
Rifle magazines are important to have on your equipment for holding M4/AR -15, AK-47, and other kinds of airsoft weapon rifle magazines. These are usually called ‘standard’ pouches or just ‘mag pouches’ due to the fact that they are pretty basic in style. They are one of the initial designs of pouches created to carry spare magazines with you in the field. The magazines are secured inside the pouch with a top flap for included security that is usually secured with Velcro. The flap might include a plastic side-release buckle depending on pouch style. In addition to being offered from many tactical gear companies in the airsoft industry, standard rifle magazine pouches are durable and one of the most budget friendly methods to carry magazines.
Tactical Open Top Magazine Pouches
Open top magazine pouches resemble the standard mag pouches with a few alterations. As the tactical pouch name implies, this pouch design eliminates the flap leaving an open top to place and take out magazines. This enables silent access and increased speed while reloading weapons or accessing pouches. These mag pouches can come in triple or single magazine holding setups.
Open Top MOLLE Magazine Pouches with Retention
Open top magazine pouches with retention systems are the newest and most sophisticated type of tactical mag pouches. In order to make mag accessibility simpler and reloads faster than ever before, this design of tactical pouch makes use of MOLLE straps so it can be installed at any angle on a MOLLE tactical vest.
The AGOZ brand also makes retention magazine pouches like the FastMag style use differing kinds of retention to grip the magazines and offer security including bungee cords or rubberized stress bands (depending on producer). Magazines are quickly reloadable by indexing the magazine and using a hard yank up out of the pouch. While kept in the holder, the tension straps firmly hold the magazines so you do not need to think about losing the mag during quick movements, crawling, climbing, or maneuvers in training or on the airsoft field.
AGOZ MOLLE Airsoft Weapon Handgun Magazine Pouches
Pistol magazine pouches come in similar styles to the rifle pouches with basic flip top, open top, and open top with retention designs of tactical pouches. The pistol magazine pouches which are available in the standard style have a Velcro flap. Condor makes a couple of standard handgun pouches which secure airsoft gun magazines very well with this resilient Velcro flip top design.
The open top and open top with retention handgun pouches are the most typically chosen versions of pistol pouches. Many of the same manufacturers that make rifle mag pouches make matching pistol magazine pouches in the same design. This consists of manufacturers like Blue Force Gear, and High Speed Gear. Both of their rifle mag pouch styles are exceptional quality, functional, and are duplicated by airsoft pouch companies.
Combination Magazine Tactical Pouches Kangaroo, Stacker, and Hybrid
Kangaroo tactical pouches are a paired style of pouch featuring both a rifle and handgun magazine. The expense of one triple mag kangaroo pouch equals about a seventy-five percent (75%) cost savings over purchasing all 6 individually (3x rifle and 3x pistol magazines).
Tactical Dump Pouches
Dump pouches (a.k.a magazine recovery pouches) create a space for you to discard empty magazines and other gear into quickly during firefights. These tactical pouches are typically carried on your belt in a rolled up position and secured by a button or strap. The pouch can be quickly unrolled to expand in size and hold empty mags after you reload your weapon, extra airsoft BBs/shells, and other tac gear while on the airsoft field. Some dump pouches even have drawstring tops for added security while moving with a full pouch.
Tactical IFAK Medical MOLLE Pouches
Medical pouches are a must have for an airsoft equipment loadout. IFAK represents individual first aid kit and consists of the equipment airsoft players require when they have to patch up a scrape or wound on the field. An emergency treatment pack needs to include the following items: medical tape or fabric tape, Band-Aids or adhesive bandages, Ibuprofen or Aspirin, rolled gauze bandages, a number of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, folding CPR mask or breath barrier, non-latex gloves, cutting shears, tweezers, and Other medical products.
MOLLE Admin Pouches
Admin pouches make space for carrying a Leatherman, folded maps, pens, and other field gear. These pouches are general use pouches for odds and ends which do not go anywhere else usually. Think of things like spare airsoft BB bags, red dead rags, multitools (if they do not have their own specific pouch), and other equipment you may require on the airsoft field or in a tactical situation.
Tactical Radio Pouches with MOLLE Attachments
Many airsoft units talk on radios and communications devices on the field. Applying a radio pouch with MOLLE accessories helps you secure your communications equipment while moving. These little radio pouches will hold most walkie-talkies and radio handsets like the Motorola TALKABOUT T800 models and Baofeng UV-5R VHR radios.
